Welcome!

In Anchorage, a group of Shrine volunteers assist the hospital staff and physicians of the Shriners Hospitals for Children - Portland during the hospitals Outreach Clinics.

There are three clinics held in Alaska each year - typically in the months of January, May and October. These clinics are designed for current patients of the hospital to experience ongoing care, while sparing the expense of travel to Portland, Oregon.

Appointments for these clinics are prearranged with the scheduling department of the Shriners Hospitals for Children - Portland.

Where to go for treatment

The majority of children from Alaska who are patients of the Shriners Hospitals for Children are seen at the Portland Hospital. Some children are seen at the Spokane Hospital, and still others are seen at the Sacramento Shriners Hospital.
